x402 repository velocity (GitHub, name + description + topics)
How many new, non-fork GitHub repositories mentioning "x402" — the open payment standard for APIs and AI agents — are created each month. This measures new-project activity in the ecosystem, not payment volume: there's no single on-chain contract that represents "x402 usage" (facilitators are independent and self-hostable), so measuring one facilitator's volume would be misleading.
